Install, Update and Uninstall

Installing

To install the gCRM add-in:

gCRM requires the following pre-installed Microsoft components:

If these components are not installed, you will be asked to download and install them from the Microsoft website.
It may require downloading additionally about 100MB.

Updating

To update the gCRM add-in, just install a new version.

Alternatively, you may uninstall gCRM first and then make a clean install.

Uninstalling

To uninstall the gCRM add-in:

Troubleshooting

If you do not see the CRM tab, try to repair gCRM installation:

  1. Close Microsoft Outlook.
  2. Open Control Panel.
  3. Open Programs and Features.
  4. Select gCRM and click the Repair button.
  5. Open Microsoft Outlook.

If there is still no gCRM tab, please try the following:

  1. Close Microsoft Outlook.
  2. Run the file C:\Program Files (x86)\Gartle\gCRM\RegistergCRM_User.cmd.
  3. Open Microsoft Outlook.

If there is still no gCRM tab, try to activate the add-in from the disabled items in Microsoft Outlook:

  1. Open the File, Options dialog box.
  2. Click on the Add-ins tab.
  3. Select Disabled Items in the Manage list (in the bottom left corner) and click the Go... button.
  4. Select the gCRM add-in and click the Enable button.

Corporate Deployment

You may use the gCRM.msi package to deploy the gCRM add-in to users' computers.
